Viking Nature Resort combines the ambience of a traditional Thai resort with contemporary standards of convenience and luxury. We are Phi Phi Island's private paradise and your ultimate back to nature island getaway adventure. Our resort is perfectly situated on Phi Phi Don and can be found between Phi Phi town and long beach, both of which are in easy walking distance but yet far enough away to offer you a place to relax and reinvigorate in tranquility settings.
Our resort is set within the very natural surrounding and boast two exclusively secluded beaches with a further two more either side, with Turquoise blue sea white sands and plenty of tropical fish within the corals. All our room / villas are tastefully finished with imaginative interiors to high standards with modern facilities but in a non intimidating environment.
ACCOMMODATION
We offer a wide range of accommodations to suit your preferences and travel budgets. We have four different types of luxurious villas to choose from as well as various bungalows. With the exception of our Economy Bungalows, all of our rooms are in perfect view of the idyllic Andaman Sea.
:: Traditional ::
These little huts are great if you are looking to immerse yourself in nature, layback on your private hammock and read a good book while enjoying the sea-view. The traditional rooms with bathroom are located along the nature path, a 5 minutes walk from our main beach and restaurant but conveniently close to the beautiful Mao Prao beach. All rooms are equipped with a private toilet, outdoor shower and balcony. Phi Phi Island is famous for its entertainment and night life. This also means that it can get rather noisy around the island in the evening hours (approximately between 10.00 pm - 02.00 am).

:: Standard Room - 2 Units ::
Standards are similar to the "Traditional with Bathroom" but a little more spacious and include a rooftop patio that is great for sunbathing. They are also good for those who are looking for a bit more privacy as they have an en-suite shower. Phi Phi Island is famous for its entertainment and night life. This also means that it can get rather noisy around the island in the evening hours (approximately between 10.00 pm - 02.00 am).
The rooms on Mao Prao Beach are located nearest to town. While these huts are peaceful and serene in the day time, guests staying there can usually hear music in the evening time. The Superior Room are wonderful for many reasons. They are spacious huts, conveniently located next to our main beach and restaurant and are all uniquely decorated in a Thai fashion. They consist of a large bathroom, a double size bamboo bed and a patio that offers a breathtaking view of the sea. These rooms are surrounded by trees which makes them a quiet spot to unwind.

Tree Hut is set raised upon the beach at our second beach within a tree, this unit has a unique layout fun and exciting and house 1 bedroom with large soft king size bed with fans, the main living area is open up to the outside while across the living area you have the bathroom with toilet and shower, the main balcony / living area has great views of the sea and across the bay, on high tides the sea will be under your building a perfect way to wake up to the sound of the sea, Phi Phi Island is famous for its entertainment and night life. This also means that it can get rather noisy around the island in the evening hours (Approximately between 10.00 pm - 02.00 am).

The Grand Superior are similar to the "Superior" but larger. The Thai sculptures and murals decorating the huts are carefully selected to compliment one another and create a calming ambience. They are a great pick for couples who are looking to relax in a private area. Note: The unique styles of the Grand Superior make them a favorite amongst many of our guests. Since there are only two of these huts at the resort.

If you are travelling with a big group of people, Makmai 3 is a good choice for you. The villa consists of 4 separate rooms. Makmai 3A and Makmai 3B are on the ground level while Makmai 3C and Makmai 3D are on the top. The villa has 2 open balconies that are shared with the neighbouring room. This lovely villa is a great place for friends to come and enjoy the ocean-view and play cards or a game of jenga on the large bamboo tables. Room Makmai 3A is the biggest in the villa. It has a double size bamboo bed, a single bed and a private bathroom. Makmai 3B, 3C and 3D are all similar in style and include one double size bamboo bed and a private bathroom.

This room is a honeymooner's delight. It is very similar to Makmai 6, although, it does not include a spare room and it is located nice and close to our reception and our private beach. It is very spacious, has a marvellous sea-view, a large bathroom with open-air bathtub and the decor is stunning. It is located just deep enough into the woods to give you all the privacy you require and since it is our furthest villa from town, it remains peaceful when the sun goes down.

This sea-view villa is simply delightful. It is the biggest private hut on the resort and an ideal choice if you are travelling with a small family or group. It consists of a double bamboo bed as well as a spare room that holds 1 single bed. Makmai 6 also has a gorgeous large bathroom which has an open-air bathtub. This means you can indulge yourself in a bubble bath by the moon light while listening to the calming sounds of the sea in the background. Although this villa is the furthest from our reception and Viking beach, it is but a short walk from our beautiful Mao Proa beach and town.

Makmai 8 certainly comes with the wow factor; this is very spacious and well equipped building with a number of luxuries. Tastefully furnished and fully equipped the main room houses a large soft king size bed, wardrobe, sofa with coffee table and ceiling fans. Comes with a 40 inches TV with separate full surround sound system installed, DVD player and Mini bar. leading of this room are 2 others, one is the very large walk in wardrobe with dressing room while the other is a very spacious en-suite which features a sunk in extra wide deep bath tub with shower, marble sink and toilet.
Walking out on the generous size balcony is a great space to entertain friends with its large table and chairs with views sweeping over long beach or just relax on the double size hammock or double bed. This is a completely private villa not over looked at any angle yet just meters away from the beach front within the trees situated on a quiet and popular spot on the resort. Generosity of space makes this villa ideally suited to guests who stay with us for a long time.
